Creative craft for industrial symbiosis in circular economies
The Textile Centre Haslach is part of an EU Interreg project that focuses on circular economy and the recycling of textile waste. It aims to make textile waste generated in industry available as a resource for craft and design processes and to use it to create new products by professional artisans.

From the end of August, you can once again look forward to an extensive and wide-ranging programme on various textile techniques and design processes. In addition to various weekend courses, there will once again be open workshop days in the hand weaving workshop in winter, as well as the Christmas workshop "Reach for the stars" to get you in the mood for the Advent season. beFLÜGELt - this is the motto of the last summer symposium TEXTILE KULTUR HASLACH, which took place between 17 July and 4 August 2023. In a special exhibition still show the collection of Marianne Flügel, a textile didactic who traveled all her life, collected various baskets, bags, ribbons and textile everyday objects from different cultures, analyzed them and partly reworked them.
