Since Janunary 2020 the European Textile Network ETN is located at the Textile Centre Haslach!

The headquarters of the European Textile Network ETN was moved to Haslach in January 2020. On February 6, 2020, the constituent meeting of the new board took place in the Textile Center Haslach.
The international association ETN was founded in 1991 with the aim of promoting subject-specific exchange between the nations and strengthening European community ideas through the medium of textiles after the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Tenderly colorful: fabrics by Susanne Heindl Exhibition - opening at the Textile Centre Haslach

For more than 40 years, Austrian textile artist Susanne Heindl, initiator of the summer symposium TEXTILE KULTUR HASLACH, quietly produced the most wonderful fabrics on hand looms in her workshop - from a wide variety of consumer textiles such as blankets, scarves or table linen to unique artistic pieces for the room. Now that her workshop is about to be closed, Susanne Heindl's work is once again recognized in a comprehensive show. Her fabrics and textiles on display in the exhibition are also for sale and should find a meaningful new home - a unique chance to acquire a piece of living textile culture!

Sie haben viele schöne Stoffe oder Kleidungsstücke zu Hause, die Sie nicht mehr verwenden, von denen Sie sich aber trotzdem nicht trennen können?
Kommen Sie damit zu uns! Verwandeln Sie dieses Material zu einem neuen Produkt, schneiden Sie es zu Hause in Streifen und nutzen Sie den Teppichwebstuhl in der Handweberei des Textilen Zentrums Haslach! Nach    einer kurzen Einschulung können Sie selbständig arbeiten und Ihre individuellen Teppiche kreieren!

The Textile Center Haslach cooperates with Le Arti Tessili, IT

For the 11th time, the Italian organization Le Arti Tessili is organizing the Valcellina Award, a young talent award for textile artists under the age of 35. The Textile Zentrum Haslach supports this initiative and offers one of the prizes to be won in the form of a course in the Textile Center Haslach. We look forward to welcoming young, international guests!

Textile Centre Haslach takes part in a textile conference in Písek, CZ

The MUSEUM ALTE TEXTILFABRIK and the SOUTH BOHEMIA MUSEUM BUDWEIS jointly organise two conferences within the framework of the KPF project MUSEUM BRIDGE with the topic "Past and future of the textile industry - Waldviertel and South
Bohemia". The Textile Centre Haslach will be presented at the conference on May 15th in Písek, CZ.

Internationale textile conference 2019 in Haslach

The European Textile Network (ETN) is an international association founded in 1991 with the aim of promoting exchange between nations and strengthening European community spirit through the textile medium after the fall of the Iron Curtain. Every two years, a large international conference takes place in different countries at locations with a textile background.
From 28th until 31st July 2019 the 19th ETN-conference will be held at the Textile Centre Haslach.The motto will be ‘Garden of Eden’ thus linking a wide range of cultural and historical themes with questions of today.
