Selected Artists - Artist in Residence in the Textile Centre Haslach
The Textile Centre Haslach, in cooperation with the European Textile Network ETN, has announced an artist-in-residence program from August 5th – 15th 2025. The program aims to make the infrastructure of the Textile Centre Haslach available to people who have the basic technical knowledge to be able to advance their own project as independently as possible and who want to get involved intensively with their work for 2 weeks. The relative seclusion of Haslach, the beauty of the surrounding nature and walks in the forest offer ideal conditions for this concentration, while at the same time the technical conditions in the Textile Centre Haslach open up many options.
From around 40 applications the jury has now selected the following artists:
◾ Batchimeg Bayaraa, MN: Dobby Weaving
◾ Tomoyo Tsurumi, JP/GB: Jacquard weaving - power loom
◾ Amy Lewis, NL: Jacquard weaving - TC2
◾ Lisa Stollnberger, AT: Tufting
We are looking forward to having these four very different young artists in our house and will report more about them in the coming weeks.
