/ Museum Main Hall

In the main hall of the Museum of Weaving one can follow the trail of how linen weaves are produced. Implements for processing the flax and various types of traditional handlooms from the simple pulley loom to the complicated damask loom are displayed and also demonstrated. On the latter the historical table cloth “Hunter’s Wedding” – a local legend – was woven. A general introduction into the basics of textile production with regard to materials and techniques is given.
