/ Garden Area and Box Mangle

From the garden one has a wonderful view of the impressive front of the former Vonwiller building and of the newly added architectural elements such as the connecting corridor which links the two formerly antagonistic weaving mills. The garden invites one to stay and marvel at the various fibres and dyeing plants growing there, at the 15m-long historical box mangle which was used for smoothing linen, and take a look at the vault through which the local stream runs and which used to generate all the energy for the factory.
